This Privacy Policy explains how 12MAV LLP (“12MAV”, “we”, “our”, “us”) handles information in connection with the website 12mav.io (the “Site”). This Policy applies only to the Site (not to our mobile apps, which may have in-app notices).

Information we collect
Information you choose to provide. If you email us (e.g., contact@12mav.io), we receive your email address and any information you include.
Automatic technical logs. Our hosting/CDN providers (e.g., website hosting and content delivery) may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and timestamps, for security and delivery. We do not combine such logs with other information to identify you.
Session storage (strictly necessary). We use sessionStorage in your browser to remember the horizontal scroll position of the header navigation. This does not track you across sites, contains no profile or identifiers, and resets when the browser tab closes.

Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set first-party cookies and do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting. Our hosting/CDN may operate strictly necessary technologies or logs for security and delivery; we do not use them for profiling or advertising.

How we use information
To operate, secure, and maintain the Site.
To respond to your inquiries.
To meet legal/compliance obligations and to prevent abuse.

Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): operating a simple informational site; responding to incoming email; protecting the Site.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where we must retain or disclose information.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) would apply only if we later add optional analytics/marketing (not in use now).

Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
with service providers that host or support the Site (e.g., hosting, CDN, email), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
to comply with law, legal process, or government requests;
to protect the rights, property, or safety of 12MAV, users, or the public.

International transfers
The Site is accessible globally. Where information is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or their local equivalents, as applicable.

Retention
We keep correspondence and minimal operational records only as long as necessary for the purposes above (for example, up to 24 months for routine correspondence unless a longer period is required by law). Technical logs are retained according to our providers’ policies.

Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@12mav.io. We may need to verify your identity. You also may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date above.
